Erin Seaton is originally from El Paso, TX. A few years after moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1992, she began working for Pulakos CPAs. She spent six and a half years as the firm's internal bookkeeper and also provided support services for the Small Business division of the firm. In 2000, Erin obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting.
Erin continued on to the Accounting Manager position for a multi-state, multi-divisional telecom company for four years, learning the intricacies of accounting for different state agencies and conquering the challenges a larger organization provided. During that time she obtained her Certified Bookkeeper's designation from the American Institute for Professional Bookkeepers and continues to maintain her certification with continuing education every year.
In April of 2008, Erin began her own bookkeeping services business observing the need for smaller companies to have quality accounting with the reliability of a larger firm but on a much more manageable budget that most small businesses have to work with. She attributes her success to the knowledge she gained while working with firms such as Pulakos and the contacts she has made over the years ranging from other local CPAs to client referrals, creating lasting relationships.
In October 2013, Erin relocated to the Treasure Valley area and hopes to have the same success here, while meeting new people and exploring what Idaho and the Northwest have to offer. Erin continues to maintain bookkeeping relationships with several of her Albuquerque clients, supporting them via the internet, emails and remote access.
